An international conference on "Europe, Germany and Contemporary Antisemitism"

On March 15,  The Kantor Center hosted the "Europe, Germany and Contemporary Antisemitism" conference  at Beit Hafutsot, Bnei Zion Hall, Tel Aviv University.  The conference was held in English.

It was co-sponsored by the Technische Universität, from Berlin; the Moses Mendelssohn Zentrum, from Potsdam; the Friedrich Nauman Foundation for Freedom; the Wiener Library for the Study of the Nazi Era and the Holocaust; Beit Hatfusot, and the Kantor Center.

The conference concentrated on the EU States, on Germany in particular. 

During the conference participants analyzed the many facets of contemporary antisemitism and its representation in the public sphere, the media, among politicians, different social strata, educated circles, and among minority groups.
