In their Position Paper "Different Antisemitisms: On Three Distinct Forms of Antisemitism in Contemporary Europe – With a Special Focus on Sweden", Lars Dencik and Karl Marosi study how the level of antisemitism as registered in national populations relates to the perception of antisemitism by the Jewish population in the same country. Furthermore, they identify distinct aspects of antisemitism, deconstructing the concept of antisemitism and breaking it up into three kinds of differently composed antisemitisms. Finally, Dencik and Marosi also present perspectives on the development of these three distinct antisemitisms in contemporary Europe

Professor Dencik works at Roskilde University, Denmark and is a leading expert on demographic trends and societal conditions for Scandinavian Jewry. Marosi is specialized in research on public opinion, and has worked as a media researcher at the Swedish and the Danish Public Service Radio- and TV networks.
The series is edited by Dr. Mikael Shainkman.
