Kantor Center News and Events

  • On the eve of Holocaust Memorial Day, April 18, the Kantor Center and its Database on Antisemitism and Racism, held their annual press conference, at which the findings on antisemitism for 2011 were presented.
  • On Holocaust Memorial Day, April 19, the Alfred Slaner Chair for the Study of Antisemitism and Racism held its annual symposium, entitled "Antisemitism and Memory as Shapers of Jewish Identity."
  • On May 31, the Kantor Center and Diaspora House will host a lecture by Dr. Tal Dekel, entitled "'Here and There': Preserving European Identity through Art among Immigrants from the Former Soviet States."
  • On June 11, the Kantor Center will hold an event, honoring Mr. Michael Whine, who has long been active in the struggle against antisemitism in Britain, on the occasion of his receipt of the title of MBE.
